Class Description:
During the year we will cover a variety of subjects that little learners will surely enjoy. In this class we read fiction and non fiction books about each topic. We will do experiments, make crafts, write, draw, color, paint, sing, explore in centers and much more.

Some of the topics we will cover include the ocean, pumpkins, weather, holidays, bears, plants, insects, community helpers and much more.

While studying about the ocean we will read some of my favorite books like Rainbow Fish, A House for Hermit Crab and The Pout Pout Fish along with nonfiction books. We will make oceans in a bottle, explore with beach sand, compare how buoyant tap water is compared to salt water, paint rainbow fish, play ocean bingo and more.

We will also have little celebrations throughout the year. For Valentines we will exchange Valentines cards and at Easter we will have a little egg hunt. We will have snacks from time to time in the class so please let me know if your child has any allergies or food concerns.
