Class Description: Ask your child, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” and you’ll get a list limited only by their imaginations: princess, pirate, doctor, teacher, police detective. In this class we will explore several career fields in hopes to spark something inside your child and help them begin to discover the call that God has placed on their life. We will read books, do hands on activities, and even have guests who specialize in the field of study we are exploring!

About Amanda McKethan

I have a degree in Elementary Education from Baylor University. I am the Studio Manager at Joy’s School of Dance where I have taught dance for 13 years. I am very involved at Harris Creek Baptist Church, where I am a member, a lifegroup leader, and also volunteer in the children’s ministry. I am also a founder of a dance ministry, Miriam’s Army, that partners with Restoration Haven Ministries in East Waco, where girls are encouraged to know their worth, be empowered and praise God through dance. God, dancing, and kids are my absolute favorite things. This is my 7th year to teach at Brazos Valley Co-Op! I love being able to share my passion with young people!
