Required Materials or Books: The United States Constitution and various portions of Supreme Court opinions as assigned.

Class Description: This class will present students with the fundamentals of United States Government with a focus on the United States Constitution as interpreted by the US Supreme Court. The studied texts will be the US Constitution itself along with certain significant Supreme Court opinions. This class will be discussion oriented giving the students the opportunity to sit around the table and talk about the content of each opinion and the various personalities of the Court.

Christopher Taylor is a local Judge who has been practicing law for 21 years. He taught Constitutional Law for many years in the Waco Police Academy and is very proud to be a co-coach of the GWCHE High School Mock Trial Team. Chris and his wife Maria have been homeschooling their children, Benjamin and Annie, for more than a decade in Waco.
