Required Materials or Books: Compass, Wooden Pencil (not mechanical), Plain Printer Paper, Binder.

Class Description:
This class will focus on specific aspects of geometry. Since we don’t have the time to cover the whole course, we will narrow the scope to only include aspects related to geometry proofs and constructions. This is not a numbers-type course, so no calculator needed.

Topics will include (but not limited to): Deductive Reasoning, Building Formal Proofs, Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Parallel Lines, Circles, Loci and Transformations.

About Pete Younger

Pete Younger has been married to his best friend Rachael since 2006. They have two boys at home, Samuel and Owen. He taught both Math and Physics at BIOLA University prior to moving to Waco to pursue his PhD at Baylor. When he's not teaching, Pete runs a small business at home.

Pete also has a BS in Math/Physics/Astronomy from the University of Wisconsin.
