Class Description:
This course will cover the fundamental elements of essay writing for secondary students.  Within each unit, we will learn and review grammar, thesis statements, research, outlines, common writing errors, proofreading, and editing. This is a great opportunity for students to practice and strengthen their writing skills as they prepare for college writing courses.

2. Persuasive essays
3. Descriptive essays
4. Expository essays

About Brooke Sanders

Brooke earned two degrees from Baylor University, including a Master of Science in Education. She has served as a professional career counselor, student services advisor, and administrator for two universities. She currently serves as a cheerleading coach at a private school. This is her third year to teach at BVC.
