Class Description:
Students will learn how people on farms in the 1800’s lived. We will make butter, bread, learn to predict the weather, plant herbs, learn how to make animal shelters, make fences from trees and how to make a native American teepee. We will learn what people in that day did for enjoyment: the art of story telling, button spinners, rag dolls, hop scotch, marbles and such. Students will learn to put themselves in the lives of those pioneers that built our fine country.
