Zaira San Martin

Hello, my name is Zaira J. San Martin. I am originally from Mexico. I lived there until I was 12 years old, consequently my first language is Spanish. I am proud to say that I am a product of "English as Second Language" classes. I was able to graduate both high school and college with honors. As an ESL student I can understand the challenges of learning a new language and the frustrations that can come with that as well. My love for languages led me to a double major in college. One in Journalism with a print specialization and another in Spanish. It is my goal to be able to help and nurture the students' curiosity for a new language and be able to equip them and encourage them to start their journey in speaking and reading Spanish.
