My name is Nicolette Sommer, and I am the proud mother of my daughter, Rhegan. She has attended BVC since kindergarten, and our family has been truly blessed by the many years we have been part of the BVC community. Rhegan will be entering her junior year next year, and it has been a joy to watch her grow both academically and personally during her time at BVC.
I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Gerontology. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, development, and the needs of individuals across the lifespan. In addition to my degree, I have been a licensed pharmacy technician for over twenty years, gaining extensive experience in healthcare and patient support.
Currently, I serve as a caregiver for my mother. I was also honored to care for both my father and my husband before their passing. These experiences have strengthened my compassion, resilience, and dedication to serving others during meaningful and challenging seasons of life.
As a hands-on and involved mother, I actively support my daughter in her extracurricular activities. We have been part of the Texas Wind family for the past several years. Rhegan participates in both volleyball and cheerleading, and I enjoy being present and supportive in all that she does.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to homeschool and to be actively involved in my daughter’s education. I would be honored to teach a subject that I am passionate about and to contribute positively to the academic growth and development of students.
