Kristyn Lyon

My name is Kristyn Lyon and I have been homeschooling my boys for 13 years in the Houston area. For 16 years, I was a Program Director for Gymnastics and an Instructor. This gave me the opportunity to coach PE at a school and then eventually teach educational classes. For 3 years, I taught an Apprenticeship Program at Grady Middle School in Houston Texas to inner city youth on a grant-funded pilot program called Citizen Schools. This program was geared towards at risk youth and was the primary reason I decided to homeschool my own children. I truly enjoy teaching and making lessons fun, and highly engaging.
