Julie Spann

I received my Bachelor of Education in Physical Education and Health from Hardin-Simmons University. I am a member of the Texas Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. I am a certified Group Fitness Instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. I am a Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. I also have a Body Pump certification through Les Mills International, Ltd. I was a public school teacher and coach for 17 years before homeschooling our son. I began coaching with Texas Wind Athletics since its inception and now coach for Waco Liberty, another homeschool volleyball program. I love helping kids get fit, teaching them why their body works the way it does, and helping them find their "thing" they will do for life. My husband, Shane, and I have been married for 26 years and we have one son. We are actively involved in our church and desperately cling to Jesus.
