Elaine Pierce

I have a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. I obtained a Texas State teacher's certificate and taught history and other social studies in private schools. Last year I had the pleasure of completing the Mid-Career course with World Journalism Institute. I now homeschool and teach in homeschool groups. I love history and writing, and hope to bring both alive for my students. I seek to quicken their thinking on history and current events, helping them learn to analyze, process, and communicate ideas effectively.
