Candace Rohrer

Candace holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Dallas Baptist University. She is also an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor, and maintains current CPR and First Aid certification, ensuring a safe and prepared learning environment for all students. Candace currently teaches gymnastics at our local YMCA, working with students as young as 18 months through teenage years. In addition, she serves as an Adjunct Professor of Kinesiology at Howard Payne University. This wide span of experience allows her to understand developmental progression from early childhood through adulthood. With experience ranging from toddlers to college students, Candace is passionate about helping individuals at every stage build confidence, skill, and a lifelong love of movement. As a wife and mother of two young boys, she understands the importance of fostering positive, encouraging environments where students can grow physically, socially, and in character. She believes there is no greater calling than helping to shape young minds through purposeful movement.
