Class Description:
In this class, students will learn about famous paintings and master artists! Each week will feature a famous painting such as Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa or Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night. We will learn about the artist, the geographic location, the painting, and the period. We will re-create each featured work of art for our keepsake binder. Studying art history develops analytical skills and critical thinking within the liberal arts. This is a great class for hands-on learning!

About Brooke Sanders

Brooke earned two degrees from Baylor University, including a Master of Science in Education. She has served as a professional career counselor, student services advisor, and administrator for two universities. This is her second year to teach at BVC.
