Class Description: Does your child demonstrate interests that could indicate a future career as a designer, architect, artist, engineer, or builder? If so, this class is for him/her! Combining history, art, and engineering, this class will incorporate weekly sketches of architectural elements.

Greek architectural orders
Romanesque vs. Gothic architecture
Timeline of architectural styles, including Renaissance, Tudor, Colonial, and Victorian
Drafting of elevations and floorplans

About Brooke Sanders

Brooke earned two degrees from Baylor University, including a Master of Science in Education. She has served as a professional career counselor, student services advisor, and administrator for two universities. She currently serves as a cheerleading coach at a private school. This is her third year to teach at BVC.
