Class Description:
Teaching Ag is not just teaching farming or ranching. It is imparting skills for a sustainable life. It is possibly one of the best ways to keep the family farms from being swallowed by the large corporate farms. Right now the family farm is becoming a thing of the past.

There will be a concentrated effort to develop a vision for farming healthy crops and raising livestock with a respect for life. This can be done in an innovative and sustainable way that does not cause collateral damage to our planet.

Students will learn all aspects of the food chain from farm to delivery at the consumer’s home. How are the products that God created best handled on the farm and on the way to the consumer’s table? Biblical standards of farm stewardship as specifically outlined in the Bible will also be discussed.
