Conversational Spanish I helps students move from memorizing vocabulary to confidently communicating in Spanish. Students will expand their vocabulary while learning essential verb conjugations and practical conversation skills used in everyday situations.
Through partner dialogue, role-playing, games, and speaking exercises, students will practice asking and answering questions, describing daily routines, expressing preferences, and engaging in real-life conversations.
Prerequisite: Intro to Spanish or basic beginner Spanish knowledge.
Hello, my name is Frankie San Martin and I was born in south Texas just 10 minutes away from the border with Mexico. I have been married for 13 years to my wife Zaira and we have 3 kiddos that keep us really busy. I work full time as a pastor at Highland Baptist Church and oversee our community programs. I grew up speaking Spanish as my first language and love to teach others on the importance of learning it. It is my goal to be able to help and nurture the student's curiosity for a new language and be able to equip them and encourage them to start their journey in speaking and reading Spanish.
