Class Description

In this course students will learn about effective communication through the written word. Students will analyze sentence structures, paragraphs, and persuasive arguments. They will then learn how to choose effective words, build sentence structures, and develop persuasive essays, and storytelling skills.
We will use the Veritas Press course book Composition I: Invention and Persuasion. This course book and description can be found at the link below:

I have a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. I obtained a Texas State teacher's certificate and taught history and other social studies in private schools.
