In this class we will travel around the globe to learn about some of God’s amazing creatures. We will spend time getting to know different animals. We’ll learn about their homes, what they eat, their life cycles, and much more!
Each week we will learn about a new and exciting animal. We will locate our animals on the map, discover interesting facts about each animal through books and videos, make crafts, and have snacks. We will even get our hands dirty with some neat experiments like finding out if animal blubber can really keep some animals warm in freezing water!
Katie graduated from Angelo State University with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduation she taught kindergarten at Valley Mills Elementary until she and her husband, Matt, welcomed their first of two sons. God led them to homeschooling and she feels blessed by the freedom and time it allows her family.
