Introduce your little ones to Laura Ingalls Wilder and her much loved stories about life growing up as a pioneer girl. We will begin the year by reading through the My First Little House Books (picture books) series, and then move on to A Little House Chapter Book series. We will discuss what life was like “in the olden days” and learn valuable lessons of character and responsibility. Each week’s reading will be followed by a fun craft or activity which will further help bring these stories to life and serve as keepsakes for years to come!

Class Description
Sylvia has a BA in French from Cal State Fullerton and has lived in Paris for nearly two years through a study abroad program. She has completed three semesters of graduate studies at the Sorbonne University and was actively involved in a small missional church while living in France. She has been married for 15 years and homeschools her two children who are loving BVC Co-op! She enjoys learning right along with her children and spending time with her family.
