Students will learn practical abilities such as home maintenance, basic repairs and essential safety procedures. The course covers tasks like fixing leaky faucets, patching holes in walls, simple woodworking, changing air filters, and using basic tools. Additionally, students will gain foundational automotive maintenance skills, including how to check and change oil, change a tire, jump-start a battery, inspect fluids, and perform routine vehicle upkeep. Emphasizing problem-solving, responsibility, and self-sufficiency, this course prepares students for independent living. Through interactive lessons, real-world applications, and hands-on projects, students will gain the knowledge and confidence to handle everyday household tasks effectively.
