Class Description

Step into the world of forensic science and investigation! In this hands-on, inquiry-based course, students will explore the science behind solving crimes. From fingerprint analysis and DNA evidence to crime scene investigation and forensic psychology, students will learn the techniques used by real forensic scientists. Through experiments, case studies, guest speakers, and mock crime scenes, students will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and observation skills. This class is perfect for curious minds interested in science, law enforcement, anthropology, or mysteries!

Ann Rodman

Ann Rodman taught for 10 years as a high school teacher before staying home to school her own children. She has a degree in Child Development, a masters degree in Library Sciences, as well as Administration. She even earned honors of Teacher of the Year runner up in the state of Illinois during her tenure at Oswego High School. Ann is currently in her seventh year of teaching classes at a homeschool co-op and loves working with the children while helping them grow in their passion and enjoyment of learning.

As a homeschool mom, Ann is grateful for the opportunities she has throughout the day to speak God’s love and truth to her own kids.
