In this fun and engaging class, young learners will dive into the world of fine arts through a multi-disciplinary approach that introduces them to the basic elements of drawing, poetry, orchestra, and art history. Students will explore their creativity by experimenting with various mediums, developing an appreciation for different art forms, and mimicking the styles of famous artists.
Throughout the course, students will:
- Discover Drawing Fundamentals: Learn the basic elements of drawing such as lines, shapes, and shading, and practice these techniques weekly.
- Explore Poetry: Begin to understand rhythm, rhyme, and the beauty of words as they listen to and explore simple poems.
- Experience Orchestra: Introduce young minds to the sounds of a full orchestra, exploring instruments and music through auditory learning, visual representation & guest musicians.
- Mimic Great Artists: Explore the distinctive styles and techniques of famous artists (like Van Gogh, Monet, and Picasso), and experiment with using some of those methods to create pieces of art that will showcase the artist studied.
