This is a section of guitar designed for kids who already have some background as guitar players or musicians. The hope here is that we will be able to cover all the aspects of the guitar class curriculum at a more focused level.
I intentionally did not call this section advanced guitar because I think it is a faulty descritos of the intention. This is not a “better” version of the guitar class or a section where you need to be an insanely proficient musician; this is a less relaxed version (but definitely no less fun!!)
In this class there will be:
An introductory assessment to qualify
An attendance policy
More challenging songs
More will be asked of the student in general
As a result of this, we will be able to do more focused activities such as jam sessions, learn more intricate and involved songs, and ultimately cover more ground.
If your student wants to invest into the guitar and they already have some musical background; I highly encourage them to try this section out!
