In this class, students will continue building on their basic reading skills. We will work through CVC words, spelling rules, diagraphs, trigraphs, and CCVC, CVCC, and VCCV spelling patterns. The goal of this class is that students will be able to read short decodable stories. We will work at the pace of the majority of the students in the class. Although there is no required homework, reviewing the classwork each week would be a great benefit to your student.

Class Description
My name is Jamie Daggett. My husband and I have been married for over 20 years. We have four children; 19, 18, 12, and 10. I have homeschooled in some capacity for last 15 years. As a result of having a couple of kiddos with dyslexia, I recently completed training to become a dyslexia interventionist and reading specialist. I love working with kiddos and helping them to see that they have what it takes to read.
