Class Description

Have you ever noticed that you are able to identify where a piece of art is from based on the style? There are so many art forms that are connected to a specific region, country, people, and culture, and this year we will be studying just that! We will be taking a month at a time to study and create art from different places around the world. From painting matryoshka dolls from Russia to the shibori fabric dyeing technique of Japan to red clay pottery of Mexico, this will be a year of fun and learning as we travel around the world through art.
