Students will learn the basics of how to use their camera, basic artistic elements, fundamental photography camera settings and concepts, basic photo editing skills, understanding of how to work with their subjects or setting, and exposure to various styles of photography. This is a hands-on class with practice in class. Students will be expected to turn in assignments for each unit in preparation for a class review. There will be a “final showcase” where students will get a chance to show off their favorite images of the year.
