Class Description

A college prep course can teach you a lot about what to expect during your first year of college. This can help you feel more prepared and less anxious about the transition. You’ll learn about things like:
– Career and College Exploration
– Admissions Process
– College Applications
– Admissions Essay Writing
– Resume Building
– Scholarship Applications (We will fill some out in class)
– Financial Aid – Student Loans
– College placement exams
– SAT/ACT test prep
– Time Management
– Money Management
– Campus Life
– Studying Techniques
and more!

High school can be an enjoyable opportunity to homeschool your kid and strengthen your bond. Even though getting your child ready for college might be stressful, there are things we can do to help them choose their courses, get ready for college admission exams, and get scholarships. We can also put our faith in God to provide our children with the necessary support to carry out His purpose for them. Students will walk away with a ton of resources in relationship to their college journey. Parents will be invited to attend classes that might be important for them, like financial aid!
