Art and the Bible by Francis Shaeffer
Students will learn to examine movies in light of a Christian worldview with particular attention to the role of redemption in the movies to be examined. Students will identify the movie maker’s use of storytelling and worldview by viewing movies, participating in class discussion, presenting to their classmates, and making their own short film.

Josh has been the senior pastor of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church since September 2013. Before that, he served as Associate Pastor at FBC San Antonio and was a youth minister for 6 years in churches in the DFW and Houston areas.
He has been married to Christi for 20 years, and they have two teenage sons at BVC and an elementary age son and daughter at BVC. They have been a part of BVC for 9 years and have homeschooled for 12 years.
Josh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christianity and marketing from Houston Christian University (formerly Houston Baptist University) and an Advanced Master’s of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Baylor University’s Truett Seminary.
