Parent Duty Requirements

Registration

There is a mandatory Parent/Student Orientation Meeting at Fellowship Bible Church on August 24th at 10:00 AM.  Parents and students must attend.    This meeting provides an opportunity to go over student conduct expectations, locate classrooms, and receive supply lists or syllabi.  You may take a number for registration before the meeting but registration will not take place till after the meeting is over.

Please carefully read all the information in the Brazos Valley Co-op Handbook before submitting your registration.

 

Registration must be done in person by the parents on one of the dates listed on the right.  No registration will be done online, over the phone or by mail. 

 

Parents may download a Co-op Handbook online and bring completed forms to registration on one of the dates listed below.   At that time parents will pay the co-op registration fee and any class deposits/materials fees required. 

Parents will also be required to sign up for their parent duty service times.

Forms will be available at each registration, but it will go quicker if you have them filled out ahead of time. 

 

All registration is done on a first-come, first-served basis.  A number will be assigned to you when you arrive to register.

 

On registration day, please bring the following:

  1. Checks made out to each teacher for class deposits and materials fees.  The amounts are listed on each class description page.  Please write separate checks for each class even if the teacher is the same.  Please write the child's name and the class name in the memo line.  If you choose to pay in cash, please put the money in an envelope with your name, the class name and the teacher's name on the outside.

  2. Check made out to Brazos Valley Co-op for registration fee.

  • $40.00 for one child

  • $55.00 for two or more children

  1. Personal calendar to sign up for lunch duty and hall monitor duty

  2. Completed forms

  • Registration form – one for each family

  • Signed Parent contract – only one parent needs to sign

  • Signed Student contract(s)  - one for each child

 

 

Registration Dates for 2007-2008

 

At Fellowship Bible Church

9:00 am – 2:00 pm

  • April 20 – Current Co-op families

  • April 27 – New and Current families

At Fellowship Bible Church

10:00 am - 1:00 pm

  • June 22

  • August 24 after the orientation meeting till 1 pm

  • Any Friday after co-op begins during co-op hours as long as space is available in the class.
