Required Materials or Books:

• The supply fee will provide each student with handouts, musical games, instruments and props for class instruction, a practice CD for each concert, and minimal costuming / props for the "pops concert" in the Spring semester.

Class Description:  "Treble Makers" is by far the most active of the three choirs offered through the Music Makers program.  In this warm and safe environment, our young musicians will explore the many ways we can use musical instruments and our voices to make music and sounds.  We will also begin building our music reading skills with the very basics of pitch through "Do-Re-Mi's" and rhythm through "Ta, Ti-Ti, TiriTiri".  Students will learn in a fun environment with games, basic instruments, silly songs, LOTS of movement, and other musical activities to develop the skills required to become a successful choir member.  Above all else, we will certainly be making A JOYFUL NOISE!
