Class Description:  This is a photography club for photo buffs of any level.  We will encourage, motivate and grow with each other throughout the year.  The club will meet on the first Friday we have co-op of each month during the lunch period. This will be a resource for any student who has and who has not taken a photo class in the past.  We will have speakers, photo trips, competitions and a protected online forum to post/comment and communicate about club happenings and member images.  There will be no assignments, just opportunities to practice and learn more about photography.  It will be a fun way to promote a creative outlet for your student if they enjoy photography!

Teacher Information:
My name is Angie McCue. My husband, John and I have been homeschooling our 4 children for 10 years.  Our children have attended BVC since ~2004. My love and fascination with photography began at age 12 as I was taught by a professional photographer in my hometown.  Photography has been a passion ever since.  I have studied and practiced many different types of photography through the years including studying photography at Sam Houston State University.  I have come to believe very strongly that photography can be a very effective and rewarding tool which can be used to develop and nurture essential problem solving, communicative and creative skills needed in everyday life as well as in many different career fields.
