Class Description:  In this class we will study different people who shaped our country.  Each month during the co-op year, we will have a different focus.  Some that we will be studying will include Daniel Boone, Ben Franklin, Lewis & Clark, the Gold Miners as well as others.  We will have different hands-on activities each week to reinforce their learning.  For example, when we study Daniel Boone we will forge our way through the forest, make a puppet, and much more.  We will also pretend we are gold miners prospecting for gold nuggets as well as panning for gold. We will also sing songs, play their games, taste thier food and learn different facts.  Join us as we step back in history to learn how these people lived their daily lives and helped build the foundation of our country.
