Class Description:  Create Express and Experiment. This class will introduce students to a variety of media including paint, pastel, charcoal, pen and ink, collage, and hand built sculpture. Students will explore age appropriate mediums in new and exciting ways as they develop skills in composition, color theory, and basic problem solving. 

Teacher Information: I graduated college in 2003 with a B.A. in Studio Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design. I have been doing freelance graphic design for several years and have enjoyed working from home. Due to my love for children, passion for art, and several teaching experiences (including developing and teaching an art program for a private school ages K-6), I am looking forward to transitioning to art teaching. I have been training under Kate Head for the past year and currently teach a K-3 class from my home as well as private lessons.
