Required Materials or Books: I will provide weekly handouts for the notebook.  The supply fee covers the purchase of a workbook and the handouts. Students need the book National Geographic World Atlas for young Explorers-Third Edition.  It can be purchased through Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble.

In this class we will travel the world and learn about the different countries, geographical features, landmarks, and cultures.  Students will learn important map reading/labeling skills while studying different cultures. I will be using Geography Songs by Kathy Troxel and the workbook that corresponds with it as part of my curriculum.  Students will have outside assignments (country reports and other projects) that they will add to their notebook.
