The JMG program is a innovative youth gardening program. It is modeled after the Master Gardener program and offers horticultural and environmental science education, and leadership and life skills development through fun and creative activities. This program is committed to helping young people become good gardeners and good citizens. (P) We will cultivate a connection to children's literature by using garden and ecology-themed books. Examples include: Linnea in Monet's Garden, The Giving Tree, The Lotus Seed. There will also be a strong emphasis on wildlife gardening and we hope to expand our current garden site to enhance the local wildlife.

THINGS YOU CAN DO IN JMG:

*Make plantable greeting cards...

*Discover the wonderful world of worms....

*Find out how plants clean water...

*Have your very own garden plot to grow spinach, lettuce, beans, broccoli, carrots, etc.....
