Class Time:  1st hour (8:30-9:25)

Minimum Class Size: 5

Maximum Class Size: 10

Prerequisites: Familiarity with computers; basic understanding of Microsoft Word

Required Materials or Books:

• Laptop Computer with Microsoft Office '99 edition or later
• Must be able to bring Laptop to class each week and able to print documents from home.

This class will help prepare high schoolers for both college and future careers through advanced learning with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. We will focus on learning "practical, useful things" to help them in the future like creating and tracking a budget and making presentations! Students will learn how to:

Teacher Information:

Jeff has been the Administrative Pastor at Antioch Community Church for the past eight years. He is responsible for the administration for a large church and global missions organization, and a large administrative support staff to keep things running smoothly. He has coordinated large conferences and events since 1990. He has an degree in Economics from Baylor University and has taught upper level math at the co-op for many years.
