| Teacher: Terri Rohrer Tuition: $160.00 per year, payable in monthly installments of $20.00 Supply/Materials Fee (due at registration): $35.00 Deposit (due at registration): $20.00 Ages/Grades: 4th - 6th Class Time: 1st hour (8:30-9:25) We will begin the year looking at the nature of
botany and the process of classifying plants. We will then discuss
the development of plants from seeds, the reproduction processes in
plants, the way plants make their food, and how plants get their
water and nutrients and distribute them throughout the body of the
plant. The children will learn about many different kinds of plants
in Creation and where these plants belong in the plant
classification system. Apologia texts continually stress the
creationist world view and provide evidence relating to botany. Terri is a homeschooling mom of four who has enjoyed co-op with her children for eight years. She studied elementary education at South Dakota State University and Dallas Baptist University. |
