The Spanish 1 CD set is expensive, but practice listening and speaking is essential to language learning and will be assigned each week.  Materials can be ordered new at www.bjup.com

Spanish 1 is a high-school level course that assumes no prior study of Spanish. Like math, languages build sequentially, and successful language learners invest time and effort on a daily basis. Since our class time will be limited to one hour each week, students who register need to be disciplined and able to work consistently at home to complete assignments. Parents will be asked to administer quizzes and tests at home.

Teacher Information:

Susan has a BA in Spanish from Baylor University and an MA in Foreign Language Education from The University of Texas. She currently homeschools her four children and teaches English as a Second Language part-time through MCC.
