| Jump into the fun of Science with
me! We will study the body and how it works, all types of creatures
and plants, the seasons, and much, much more. Hands on experiments
will enhance our learning fun. A class field trip will be planned
each semester. Student participation and group discussion will be a
natural part of the process as we study. Books, books and more books
will be used as supplemental material to the student reader
(especially those by Janice VanCleave!).
Teacher information: I have home schooled for 3 years and taught for 20 years in public and private settings. Since having children (13 yrs.), I have been a part time instructor for Navarro College and MCC Adult Education, teaching GED/ESL classes. I have assisted in 2 Co-op classes this past year and seen how well the students do with hands on and creative activities in the classrooms. I look forward to helping the younger students adjust to the new setting of classes at Co-op.
