  • Students will also need a folder and pen or pencil and notebook paper

We will learn about events in America's history through literature. Beginning with the Revolution we will journey through the growth of a new nation, pain of a civil war, pioneer's adventures, times of depression and a world war.

Students will be expected to read the books outside of class and complete reading vocabulary and questions. Additional cross-curricular activities will be completed in class as well as assigned throughout the year. Students should expect to spend 2 to 3 hours per week on reading and assignments.

Candi has had 15 years teaching experience both at home and in the classroom.  She loves to see students excited about reading.
