Students will begin with simple exercises designed to give them practice with the tools of the trade while learning to letter; render 1-, 2-, and 3-point perspective; and add textural and shading details. During the Spring semester, we will discuss the "hows and whys" of building as we draft plans for a small house, including floor plans with electrical and plumbing features, foundation plans and details, elevations, and sections.

This course is useful for students who are interested in architecture or engineering, landscaping, interior design, art, or who just want to improve their penmanship.
