This class gives all the tools needed to do well on the ACT and the SAT. Students will receive a comprehensive review of the types of questions that they will see on the test, receive sound advice on how to tackle the many "trick" questions they will encounter, develop a plan for effective studying, review the ever-important vocabulary, brush up on math skills tested most frequently, and gain needed insight into general test-taking skills they can incorporate to yield a successful score. The fall semester will cover the SAT and the spring semester will cover the ACT--and YES, they are VERY DIFFERENT TESTS!!!!! Homework in the form of practice tests, online quizzing, and vocabulary study will give students what they need to see improvement from an old score or establish a good score from the start. Teacher information: Adrielle has a B.S. in Education from Baylor University. She taught English Language Arts and History in public schools for six years prior to starting her own tutoring company and working with Brazos Valley Co-op. |
